We had an amazing week here in Lyon! The biggest highlight was probably zone conference! It was a multi zone conference so it was my zone and 3 other zones that all came to Lyon which meant... Soeur Fagg and Soeur Wilsher came to Lyon! The stayed at my apartment and we had a sleepover! It was so fun! I miss my friends from the MTC so much and it was such a treat to see them! We might of stayed up till like 10:32 by accident.. sorry Jesus! The sad thing about the zone conference though was that it was President and Sister Roney's farewell conference. It's hard saying goodbye to such a wonderful mission President but President Brown is going to be wonderful as well and I know we'll learn lots from him! I really loved Presidents talk he gave. He was a pretty simple one. He talked about Jesus' last super with his apostles and how what he taught them was be obedient and you'll be happy. Learn what I've taught and apply it.. and you'll be happy. And that was President's message to us. That he loves us and the most important thing to him and Sister Roney is that we are happy throughout our mission and the rest of our lives. 

I am going to miss President Roney a lot but I'm really grateful for all that I have learnt from him and Sister Roney. Them and their family are a fruit of living the gospel. They are so happy and have such a strong family because they have made the gospel the centre of their lives. It's amazing to see that joy that it can bring and how it can strengthen everyone in their relationships with their family. The gospel is for families! That's what we're all about! 

The rest of this week has been very busy! We have some great amis who are progressing but we're struggling to get them to commit to baptism. We are teaching one guy Baptiste who is the boyfriend of a member in our ward. He is so cool and comes to church, reads the book of mormon, and prays but there's something that's holding him back from committing to baptism. So we're really trying to work with him to help him see how wonderful the church is! 

I love you all so much and I'm so grateful for everything you all do for me!

A nice reminder about Father's Day! Fun fact: France just started
celebrating Father's Day a few years ago!

We made cookies for the members this Sunday! You can't really tell but
it was a lot!

This was a gift from President and Sister Roney that they gave to all
the missionaries. It's for us to hang in our homes and to remember the
teachings of the Savior

We had pday at presidents house again this week for their last pday
here! This week president changed out of his normal suit and played a
game of basketball with the elders! #coolestmissionpresidentever
